Welcome to Picus Crafts. Established in 1974 by proprietor Les Bryan, the Ammanford based business boasts a thriving trade in a multitude of woodcraft skills from woodturning to furniture making. Picus Crafts undertakes a varied range of woodworking projects from handcrafted ornaments to traditional furniture in a range of hardwoods. No project is too small for this master craftsman, be it a hand carved Welsh lovespoon to an authentic replica spinning wheel. Working from a well equiped workshop Les Bryan lovingly crafts exquisite pieces of traditional Welsh furniture from Celtic style chairs to farmhouse tables. |

When not busy in his workshop Les can be found demonstrating woodturning at many different venues around Wales such as the National Botanical Gardens and the National Museum Of Welsh Life in St. Fagans. A selection of Les's work is available to view on the gallery, from lovespoons to spinning wheels and bookends to cabinets. Les is always looking for new challenges in woodwork and enjoys working in native homegrown hardwoods. If you have a period piece that needs the touch of a master craftsman, then Les could well be that person you have been looking for. Why not contact him and discuss your needs at length and see if Les can come up with a solution for you. Always open for new challenges in woodwork, no project is too big or too small for Picus Crafts. |
